Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 3, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how OnStage (“OnStage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the OnStage mobile applications, websites (including onstage.app), and related services (collectively, the “Services”). OnStage is associated with Tai Lopez / Tailopez. The iOS app bundle identifier is com.tailopez.onstage26.
Questions about privacy: privacy@onstage.app. General support: support@onstage.app.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we may collect your email address, phone number (if used for authentication), username, display name, profile photo, bio, and similar profile fields you choose to provide.
Live rooms and communications. When you join or host a live room we process room participation metadata (for example room IDs, roles such as host or speaker, join/leave times) and content you choose to send in room chat. Live audio and video streams are transmitted for real-time communication; we do not treat ephemeral voice packets as a permanent database record of your conversation.
Direct messages. If you use DMs, we store message content, thread membership, and delivery/read-related metadata needed to operate messaging.
Notifications and device data. We may collect push notification tokens, device type/OS, app version, and similar technical data. With your permission we may send activity, invite, and product notifications.
Usage and diagnostics. We may collect analytics and crash/diagnostic data (for example feature usage, performance metrics, and error logs) to keep the Services reliable and improve the product.
Payments. If in-app purchases or tips are enabled, payment processors (such as Apple, Google, or other providers we name in-product) handle payment credentials. We receive limited transaction metadata needed for entitlements, receipts, and fraud prevention—not your full card number.
Waitlist and marketing site. If you join our waitlist from the website, we collect the email address you submit and a source label (for example which button you used).
Support. If you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message.
3. How we use information
We use information to: provide, operate, and secure the Services; authenticate accounts; enable live rooms, stage roles, chat, DMs, follows, invites, and activity feeds; send transactional and (where permitted) product communications; process waitlist signups; improve and debug the product; enforce our Terms; comply with law; and protect users and OnStage from abuse, spam, and fraud.
4. How we share information
Other users. Profile information you make public, and content you post in rooms or DMs, is visible to the people those features are designed for (for example other participants in a room or your DM peers).
Service providers. We use vendors for hosting, databases, realtime media, analytics, crash reporting, email delivery, and similar infrastructure. They process data on our instructions.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users or OnStage.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction subject to this Policy’s protections.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used under California law.
5. Retention
We retain account, message, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes. Ephemeral realtime media is generally not retained as a permanent conversation archive. Waitlist emails are retained until you ask us to remove them or we no longer need them for launch communications. When you delete your account through in-app account deletion (where available), we delete or de-identify personal data associated with your account except where we must retain limited records (for example fraud prevention, legal holds, or financial ledgers).
6. Your choices and rights
You can update profile information in the app. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us at the emails above. Where the app provides account deletion, that is the preferred path for closing your account.
California residents. Subject to exceptions under the CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To submit a request, email privacy@onstage.app. We will verify your request as required by law. You may designate an authorized agent as permitted by California law.
7. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International users
We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. If you use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection laws.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy where permitted by law.
